Lean Six Sigma Training - Essentials only
While our training follows the traditional Six Sigma DMAIC steps, it places greater emphasis on Lean principles, Process Mapping, Operational Improvement, Implementation and the "soft" skills, such as Change Management and project facilitation, required to deal with the particular issues found in services business. It gives less emphasis to the advanced statistics and manufacturing-based tools found in most conventional Six sigma courses, since these rarely, if ever, have relevance to service businesses.
Experience says that people lose 80% of what they learned in a classroom if they dont use it within 48-72 hours. Therefore we have selected the most relevant core tools and techniques and put them in a practical use during and immediately after the course.
The training is 5 days, and is distributed in 50% theory - 50% practice and real life banking examples. The training language is English or Hungarian (based on customer demand), and there is an evaluation test at the end of it. In comparison, many Green Belt courses take 3, even 4 times 3-4 days, yet the useful part for finance industry is only a fraction of it.
According to our clients claim we can organize our Lean and Six Sigma trainings following the classic manner of Green Belt and Black Belt level, and we also have built a special course for developing new process management systems (BPMS- Business Process Management System).
Lean Six sigma workshop - Solution generation
The most effective approach - the course immediately followed by a 5 days problems solving and solution generation workshop. Our trainers would facilitate Solution Generation Teams in resolving their particular business problem, already expressed by the management. During process redesign we would apply Lean concepts proven in banking environement (single-piece flow, error-proof process and form design, load leveling, cell processing, etc.).
The workshop ends with a list of detaliled proposals to the Management Board (or Sponsor) prepared by the Solution Generation Team. These are at a certain level of detail that the board can usually decide on execution right away. The list of the solutions are then handed over to Implementation Teams. In many cases these are led by Internal Project Management offices or delegated to the affected departments. The problem solving competency stays after we leave and the organizational acceptance of the solution is much higher than is case of the usual consultant-led projects.
